It seems like there is an endles array of network problems if one chose to have a wide variety of devices running in a household. Tonight I got another interesting problem. My Ipad 2 could’nt connet to internet but could reach local resources on my LAN. I had a similar problem with my Mac mini some days ago.

This time I solved it by removing the entry for the Ipad in my Thomson TG789vn router. It was done in Home Network -> Devices  -> “My Ipad” and then press the delete button.
